Frankincense (Boswellia sacra) Pure Essential Oil – Therapeutic Quality

Description

Fresh, woody, balsamic, slightly spicy, and fruity, Frankincense is said to have a centering effect on the emotions. Traditionally used for meditation and spiritual growth, this essential oil begins as a resin that seeps out of injured bark. The Frankincense tree can grow up to 20 feet tall, with shiny, wax-like leaves and white flowers. The oil carries a warm and sweet scent.

Boswellia sacra, known as the "sacred" Frankincense, is closely associated with spiritual rituals and originates from Oman. Frankincense trees are commonly found in Somalia, China, Ethiopia, and Southern Arabia. Historically, the resin paste was used by the Chinese to treat tuberculosis and leprosy, while the incense fumigated rooms occupied by the ill. Egyptians utilized the resin as incense, perfume, makeup ingredients, and even embalming tools. Many cultures, especially the Egyptians, burned Frankincense as offerings during religious ceremonies.

This oil is relaxing and ideal for mature skin. Emotionally, it supports working through feelings of worthlessness and discovering one's value. Considered a holy anointing oil, it has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years. Inhaling Frankincense essential oil can help with spiritual focus.

Frankincense enlightens, protects, enhances wisdom and discernment, and opens spiritual connections. It fosters a sense of connection with father figures and feelings of being loved, making it helpful for those with abandonment issues or feelings of disconnection.
