Description

Eucalyptus is a tree whose leaves and twigs are collected to extract its essential oil. The leaves, which are the main source of the oil, are leathery and fragrant. There are eight types of eucalyptus trees used for oil extraction, with Eucalyptus globulus being the most common.

Eucalyptus trees are remarkable for their rapid growth, reaching up to 100 feet in just 10 years. These trees are commonly found in regions such as Australia, Tasmania, China, Spain, California, and Brazil.
